The records contain printed minutes of two Baptist Associations which precede the current Baptist General Association of Virginia. The Baptist General Committee was organized in 1784 and the records are for years (in order of filming) 1799, 1790, 1791, 1792, 1793. The Baptist General Meeting of Correspondence (later the Virginia Baptist General Meeting of Correspondence) was organized in 1800. Records for this organization appear first on the film and are for the following years: 1808, 1810, 1814, 1815 (negative image, unreadable), 1817, 1818 (negative image, fair readability), 1820.
